Senior Civil Servants from the EP and the European Commission will held short presentations on different aspects of the European Union as a supranational body

  • Consultative bodies – roles and functions from practitioners point of view
  • Court of Justice in Luxembourg (where relevant)

  • Co-Decision in the EU
  • Tailored made presentation of major EU common policy – CAP, CFP, human rights, disaster prevention and conflict resolution, regional policy, cohesion policy, transport policy and so forth
  • CFSP and ESDP before and after Lisbon

Attending Committee Meetings in the European Parliament
Group I – AFET Committee
Group II – ITRE Committee
Group III – TRAN Committee
Three to four groups will be witnessing the practical work of a relevant Committee meeting in the European Parliament such as AFET, DEVE, Human Rights, ITRE, ECON, IMCO, ENVI and TRAN and so forth

The type of Committees will depend on the profile of the delegates
