Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the different types of PQs
  • Understand the different procedures and timescales for PQs in the Commons and the Lords
  • Understand both how and why MPs and Peers table Parliamentary Questions
  • Understand the requirements of Ministers
  • Understand the role and requirements of clerks and other staff who are involved in the PQs process
  • Increase ability to provide effective responses for oral and written PQs
