Coarse Context:
Teamwork is the foundation of great achievement; it is prioritized by organizations with high productive capacity, conversely, an organization with low productivity is usually the result of a dysfunctional team. Building high-performance teams is crucial for boosting performance and consistency, resulting in organizational success under normal circumstances and through crises. This engaging one-day course is designed to equip public servants with a comprehensive understanding of high-performance teams' dynamics and principles. Participants will gain valuable insights on developing, maintaining, and improving a high-performing team's level. They will be able to practice universally applicable techniques that drive team success.

- Discuss an instance where an organizations have benefited from high-performance teams under normal conditions and crises.
B. Characteristics of a high-performance team
- Describe the nature and principles of a high-performance team from a leadership and team member perspective.
C. Roles in a high-performance team
- Provide an overview of the stages in completing a team project.
- Identify and describe the essential roles and responsibilities that align with each stage.
Part 2: How to build a high-performance team
A. Talent:
- Choosing the right people who align with the mandate and culture of the team.
- Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of team members and strategically aligning them with roles that complement their skills.
- Developing a team with a broad range of talents and skillset for effective collaboration.
B. Leadership:
- Identifying and building the core elements of effective leadership.
- How to establish an effective team decision making process.
- How to mobilize the team to generate maximum value from collective efforts.
- Maintaining effective communication and team cohesion.
- Implementing constructive conflict resolution.
C. Team Dynamics:
- Challenges to navigate with on-site and remote teamwork.
- Nurturing healthy dynamics relating to relationships between team members, organizational structures, and policies.
