Sue Calthorpe
Susan is an experienced communications professional who now also lectures on a range of issues including effective briefing and policy skills. She trains a number of high-profile public and private sector organisations in effective internal and external communications' strategies, including, in Government, the Crown Prosecution Service, the Borders and Immigration Authority, Ministry of Defence and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. Susan has also worked with the Department for International Development in the UK, Delhi, Sarajevo, Bangladesh and Ethiopia. She has also devised and delivered communications and crisis management training for other public sector bodies, most recently the Food Standards Agency, The Law Society, the Office of Rail Regulation, the London Borough of Sutton and the top team (70 delegates) at Hampshire County Council.
A former journalist, Susan is now a Director at The Clive Davis Partnership, a public relations and full-service marketing agency, with a client list including: HSS Hire Services, Marks and Spencer, Fujifilm, Aston Martin, and Areva T&D, one of the world's leading energy producers. Susan still writes for a number of publications and websites on behalf of a range of clients.
